EXTRA! read all about it. club news We are starting a new month that will end with a Silver Poing game in the last Monday that we play in February (the 27th). Next week as usual on the second Monday of the month will be a Club Championship. Quickie snacks instead of food seem to be working out. Last Monday was a record of 21 boards before 4:30. Maybe we should go back to food. But snacks are food that take less time to consume. Speaking of food, my wife wasn't a super chef. Everything she cooked came out hard. We were the only house on the block that had a soup knife. I cut myself on a cup of coffee. The smoke alarm would call us to the table. If you asked the question: "Guess who's coming for dinner?" The answer was: "The paramedics." RIDGE BRIDGE CLUB is now located at the Fort Hamilton Senior Center: Fort Hamilton Parkway and 99 Street. The game is held every Monday. Food is served at 1:15 sharp; game immediately follows. Must become a member of the Senior Center - $25 yearly fee - to play. This entitles you to use the parking lot and other NYC park facilities such as swimming pools and benches.
