Lead:  Q C. Count: 6 losers. 2 S, 2 H, 2 D.

Plan:  Double Hook in S’s, H’s, and D’s.

Play: Win the A C in dummy and play the 3 H
and put in the Queen (if East plays low). Play the 
10 S and let it ride. East wins and returns a Club. 
(As good as any other return). Win the K C and 
play the J D and let it ride. West wins and plays 
the 8 S. (Playing a Club will give a ruff and discard;
and playing a Heart will give a free finesse.) Win 
with the J S and pull the last trump with the A S
Repeat the Diamond finesse: play the 10 D and let 
it ride. If East does not cover play a small Heart to 
the 10 and West will win the last trick for the 
defense. You lost 1 S, 1 H, 1 D,  Made 4 S.
